Whilst browsing the Weymouth Terras forum I came across a post stating that they did not play a home league game between 9th September and 6th December 2014. Surely not possible? I know that we have had extended periods without a home league fixture this season but 3 months - impossible? So I checked the fixture list on the Southern League site and it showed that the statement was correct. Apparently there were some cup games of various importance but none of the "bread and butter" league home games. If this situation even to a lesser extent is common then it is no surprise that crowds are not what they once were.
