    I thought I heard a choir of Angels earlier.... Charlie coming home is probably the biggest return we could ever have at this club. 9 goals for Gloucester suggests on the face of it he's not the force he was, but he should still be too good for this league. Welcome back Charlie!

    Just hope that Charlie gets a game, as all the other strikers we have had in over this season, have sat on the bench getting splinters. Pity we could not have seen the two brothers playing together, maybe next season. Be good to see Charlie on Saturday.

    A very good signing. I'm sure he will make a difference and score goals for us. I'm a bit surprised we signed him at this stage of the season.  Hopefully it's with a view to Charlie also signing next season. Welcome to the club Charlie and good luck.

    I have to say that this is an excellent signing by the Management Team, and has come totally out of the blue. Charlie will bring a lot of experience to the squad after a good career at the professional level, followed by top flight semi-professional levels. I wonder if perhaps Charlie may get involved in coaching short/long term with the strikers ? I 'm sure he can pass on a lot of good advice there. Welcome back Chas and start with a hat-trick against Hitchin tomorrow.

    Think charlie was going to be released by Gloucester at the end of the season.Hope if available he starts.At last we have signed a proven goalscorer.Well done to the club for signing him.Intresting to see who is selected to-morrow,as Guthrie is also available.
