Chipp win 2-1, both goals from Holgate
Great display from Kaupinnen with penalty and several other key saves.
Great to see Sammy Allison as ref , his time keeping was poor blowing for it with a minute to go. Think he missed clear cut penalty at end when Phillips was pulled over. Cirencester penalty was dubious.

Haha. Very kind of you Georgio. Very much enjoyed the three games - we've got a great set of lads. My brief spell on the inside again has reminded me what a lot of hard work goes unseen in running our club. It's in very good hands. COYB's!!!!

Kent deserved to be man of match, superb in goal and kept us in the game.Defence again looked a solid unit.Midfield didnt fire in 1st half.Playing one forward up front isnt our game.Looked better when Francis came on.Poole and Weymouth seem to be struggling a bit, maybe a chance of picking up a few points.

Yes it was good to see Sammy in the middle he had a good game apart from a 44 min first half and turning down penaty in last minute. The first half was dire, and Kent kept us in the game, second half a lot better. Concerned about our discipline at times, Beedon getting involved, and Tinds like an octopus, arms all around opponents. No wonder we get so many suspensions, however, another 3 points.

I think if you check the records i understand you will find that CTFC are way down the list in concerning red and yellow cards.Agree poor first half, half time chat appeared to work. Good to see Guthrie back and to see Roberts pre match training. Bally should be back soon according to terrace talk.

I think Sammy was in a no win situation in refereeing this game. Of course he had to be impartial, as all referees should be, but he was woefully wrong with Cirencester's penalty. I was right in line with the incident, and the Ciren lad was sweezing John Beddon's b*?*?*s which certainly brought tears to my eyes ! The linesman stood there impassive as it nothing had happened. Same thing with our shout for a penaly when Phillo was bundled over by their keeper and last defender. A clear cut penalty that I've ever seen IMO. Still 3 points are 3 points and we must fancy getting something over the next few games
