I see that Tyrone Mings was involved in the madness that was transfer deadline day. Mr Warnock at Crystal Palace was suitably impressed with Tyrone to offer Ipswich £ 2.5 million for his services, which Ipswich Town turned down !

Great news for Tyrone who will now be offered a new deal at Ipswich I believe. Just goes to show that if you keep working hard anything is possible.
Having been released by Southampton Tyrone picked himself back up when others might have given up.
I remember playing cricket at Sheldon in Chippenham 3rds a couple of seasons back prior to the footie pre-season and seeing a couple of lads making use of the 400m track running circuits in the blazing sunshine.
I'm not sure who the other lad was but one was Tyrone, doing pre-pre-season I guess. A great example to any young lad.
Best of luck Tyrone....I wish I was your agent!!

Actually not true. He was interested but only if they didn't sign the young lad from spurs so no bid was made.
Still a great talent and is surely destined for the premier league.
At least we got a decent signing on fee when he left ;-)

He wasn't on a contract so we couldn't get a fee

I think you missed Cooky's irony there.
