I meant we're only struggling in key positions because of the injuries of course.  If everyone was fit and available our strongest 11 would be a real threat.  Add someone like Paulton's McCootie up front (today's scorer for them) and I'd fancy us to have a real stab at top 6.   As it is we're work in progress, we'll have set backs along the way there's a far more positive feel about the club than 12 months ago.  Decent crowd today too I thought, considering a lot still on holiday and the foul weather.

A reasonable summation IL. I thought we started well in the second half and our equaliser was just reward. Thought Edwards' denial of his "goal" was a disgrace as the keeper hadn't the ball safe and then went over to hide his mistake successfully conning the ref who gave us little or nothing all game. The sending off disrupted things for us and took the steam out of the attack. A gloomy afternoon this in miserable conditions with an unfortunate though deserved draw out of a game we might have won with a decent ref. Still, we only drop one place and another home game next Saturday will, hopefully, continue to keep us in touch in the top group. Gotta say, think Kent was a real star and looks a good keeper.

Strange also that Omar Simpson is suddenly unavailable, mention of his athletics career not clashing with the football season,but once on the bench, he is not available!! We could use him at the moment, lets hope he is still here next Saturday.  The referee yesterday had a shocker, but will he be accountable, no chance.  We have a different mind set this year, last season when we went a goal down, the world collapsed around us, at least there is fight this year.

Thats naughty you have misquoted me which totally changes the context of what i said. My statement was "We were thin on the ground before kick off despite what we had on the bench - now critical. No one at fault but our good results have been dogged by very high player attriton" - I was referring to the overall situation not specifically suspensions. Clearly players are responsible for their own actions. That being said reports that I have heard from those who went to Dorchester suggests that they may be some scope for feeling that Harvey and Osman may have been somewhat unfortunate. Yesterday I think many considered that Tyrone was unlucky when his offence was balanced against Williams unpunished demolition of Coupe and the head wound that Smith received that required the paramedic and stitches.

My son showed me the same picture (I assume) off Twitter, and yes it is not for the faint hearted. Poor old Bryan must be nursing one hell of a headache at the moment. My understanding with serious head injuries as a result of a sporting incident, which clearly Bryan's must come under this category, is that a player cannot resume playing for a minimum of 2 weeks, which will leave us even more thin on the ground
