Does the Club want my support?

I visted the official Club site to try and get a match report and team listing - on not finding any i asked the question  would they shortly be available?

Here is the response -CTFC Website commented on a match centre.

CTFC Website wrote "???? I have got others things to do as well"

Well so have I on Saturdays and evening games - I can take my custom else where should i choose to do so!

"Does the club want my support" What a strange topic thread, of course they do.But I think sometimes in the past you may have been a bit over the top with critisism of certain things and therefore are likely to get the response that you did. It is the only negative post following our best start to the league season in years - just enjoy!

Re: Does the Club want my support?

I have not been negative in respect of the performance - indeed i have praised it "played their socks off"
All i did was ask the the club  - not an individul - when we might have a match report and team listing. The response I got was from an individual who decided that my approach was directed at him and responded in a way that I would not expect from any organisation.

As  a supporter I feel that I am entitled to praise or raise issues of concern - as stated in a previous post I try to be fair and never resort to profanity but i maintain that it is only fair that I should be allowed to air my concerns like anyone else. When I contact an orginisation with a query I expect a response that reflects image that the organisation would wish to portray.

I don't think that's asking too much. A suitable response would have been something along the lines of, 'Thank you for your enquiry. We do try and provide a match report as soon as possible, but owing to other commitments this sometimes takes a little longer than fans might wish. Your support is highly valued by the club, please continue to visit our website.'

Spot on! I would have been more than happy with that.

I'd happily swap our websites and league positions now

Re: Does the Club want my support?

Not quite sure I agree with the heading of the thread but it was a reasonable question asked by Bluebirds2006 not at all critical or rude and the response was in my view rude and abrupt. Certainly not one which endears you to the supporter base when posted on the clubs offical website. As it's on the official clubs website could you not take it as being an official response??
I as do others very much appreciate that the club would struggle to exist if it were not for the hard and unseen work put in by unpaid volunteers but it appears to some that they are above being questioned about their role.

Re: Does the Club want my support?

Kind of ironic that the person in question is also a director at the club.
