    Southern League fans forum

    Makes interesting reading, in their predictions for the season thread around three quarters of posters predict the Bluebirds will be relegated. Now there's an incentive.

    I think things will end up very different as predicted - football is never easy to predict, especially at non-league level.

    Spoke to Alan Griffin last night at training (he will be out for 2 weeks with a thigh injury) and he believes because the manager has somewhat changed our game plan for this season, teams who historically know how to play against us will be caught out with our tactics. He thinks Omar Simpson is an unknown quantity at SLP level, and whether he starts or comes on as an impact sub, he will frighten defences with his pace. Have to say the squad does look very sharp in training, and I am confident we will be up the right end of the table this season. Let's hope so anyway

    But "Its" in this context should read "It's".  Own goal, perhaps?
