I keep a close eye on the Hereford Times to check what the next calamity is coming HUFC's way, and it does make you wonder if they will actually be allowed to even start the new season in the Southern League Premier. Their physio and club photographer walked yesterday, stating they had not been paid in 4 months, and they are in the High Court today to hear ex manager Martin Foyle's claim for no payment of wages. I feel Hereford's plight is a message to all club's who think they are above the FA's rules on strict financial management. Thankfully Neil Blackmore will not allow CTFC to get in that position.

According to their forum they have been given 21 days to prepare for a CVA. So that takes us to the end of July and just a few days before the season kicks off

It gets worse than that Charlie. I've just taken a quick look at their local newspaper the 'Hereford Times', and the main feature is that Hereford Council Council are being accused of of witholding details of HUFC's plight, which they were aware of 6 months ago. The FA have gotten themselves involved in this now and are demanding an explanation. Like yourself I have taken a look at their forum, and their people do not sound a friendly bunch at all. Really cannot seem them in our league the way things are going.

Just taken a sneaky look at the Hereford Times and apparently Hereford Council have called in the 2 leases that are linked to HUFC's ground Edgar Street, because the club have defaulted yet again by not paying creditors within the agreed time. Apparently the lease(s) state that if the club is not run in quote 'a fit and proper way' then the council are obliged to re-call the lease(s). So where does this leave HUFC as they prepare for life in the SPL ? No ground, certainly no players, supporters boycotting the club, and loss of all credibility in the footballing world. Can't see them starting the season to be honest.

Strange goings on a Edgar Street, their supporters appear to have organised a rival team (in the guise of HUST) and are setting up an alternative set of friendlies.

Just picked up on your thread Charlie Bird, and have taken a quick look at the HUFC Fans Forum. Clearly the new owners are keeping a very low profile, and all the talking seems to be coming from the HUST. Vatious poster on their Forum are attaching a link from the secretary of the Southern League, who is to coin a phrase 'monitoring the situation', and stand firm that HUFC must pay all creditors by the end of July before they can participate in the SPL fixtures. My concern is for all other clubs in the SPL, because should HUFC comply with this ruling and are able to start the season, this faction called HUST will descend on each away fixture in their hundreds and cause untold disruption. Their intentions are to mingle with the home fans and genrally make a complete nuisance of themselves. Home teams will need extra security/police prescence for added control of these so called fans. Reading some of the comments from these vile people, I'm not sure they are actually football fans at all, and clubs may relish the prospect of hundreds of extra away fans for the HUFC fixture, but at what cost ? I'm sure our board of directors are watching this unfolding scenario very carefully.

they are football fans who have been shafted by unscrupulous owners, not surprising they are a bit agitated but I have not seen any indication they are planning to set out and cause trouble
