Chippenham v St Albans

Game on at LAST. And it's a very tough one. There current form is very good. No Griff ( A massive loss) but the good news is Philo & Harvs are back. We'll need to be at our best today. Good luck to Mark & Tom lets get our boys at it right from the kick off. Let's see the Pride & Passion.

Re: Chippenham v St Albans

Thought we played well first half, then had to dig in and battle.  The referee bottled it with the decision not to send off their last defender when he took Phillips down, and I thought we were going to get nothing from the game when they scored.  But credit where it's due, the lads kept going and got their reward.  We'd have lost that one in recent times but we had a solid look about us today, and against a team that will no doubt make the play-off mix.   I was near the dug-out when we equalized and saw the delight of our management team when we scored.  Good to see it meant so much to them.   Loved that.

Re: Chippenham v St Albans

Battled for a well deserved point. Can't fault the effort of any one of the team but certainly missed Griff up front although Lee Phillips didn't stop running all afternoon. Will be good to see Lee and Griff up front together.
Thought referee was very poor and as someone else pointed out bottled sending their player off when he was the last man. Bit baffled as was a foul but not bad enough to warrant a booking. So why a yellow for a tame foul? Had to be because of where it was in which case it should have been a red or nothing. Aside from that referee was at least consistently poor to both sides.
Not surprising but pitch was in a bad state with ball bobbling all over the place.Needs a good roll before the next game.

Re: Chippenham v St Albans

Harvs felt his hamstring tightening so came off as a precaution.
