A big cheer for Kemp and Bown

It will be the last game with CTFC for both  Gary Kemp and Matty Bown tomorrow. Please give them a big cheer for all their hard work and commitment.

Yes I thought Gary and Matty did well, Gary always seemed to have a quiet word in Adie's ear prior to substitutions.
Some of us thought Gary might take over from Adie, when he went.

A round of applause from those that attend.

Re: A big cheer for Kemp and Bown

Sadly Kemp's had to give it up due to work and family, he will be missed as will be Matty, who else will be kicking the ball around with the subs

Shame either of them weren't offered the managers job of the reserve team.

It's also Pete Hussey's last game I understand, understand he's had offers from other clubs in a player/coach capacity so good luck to him, never sure what he did at Chippenham, certainly didn't improve Snoddy's kicking, lol

Good luck and I'll see you around Pete

Re: A big cheer for Kemp and Bown

You can coach someone as much as you like, but if they haven't got the natural ability it can only go so far.

Looks like a bigger shake up than first thought then, which is encouraging, though what odds Mingsy being back in the hot seat by Christmas?

My comment about the coaching was very much tongue in cheek Hopper

You wouldn't be surprised if he comes back. Imagine the situation..we're struggling near the foot of the table, Rudgey wants to carry on playing and the Director of Football rides in on his white stallion to save the day. If he suceeds he's a hero, if we (god forbid) go down all the damage was done before he got there and there was nothing he could do.

No wonder he's called Teflon.....

What's the odds on Mingsy still being director of football if Applegate leaves before the end of next season.

2012/2013 could be a very interesting season.....

Have a nice summer everyone
