    Trophy game

    Must win this one.  Adams not allowed to play (by Basingstoke) and Tindle suspended I'm told, so looks like we'll see Griff in the back four.  COYB.

    Last 4 we've scored 4, conceded 12.  Chertsey have scored 8, conceded 22.
    Got 0 - 0 written all over it then!

    No Tindle or Rosco,but boy do we need to win today, a loss could spell real doom and gloom.  Chertsey have won there last two proper games and will be up for today.  Even without those two lads we should have enough quality to win today. Cum on Steve & Adam get the lads buzzing today.

    Glad we got that out of the way and £2700 better off. Pretty good first half poor for the 2nd - we could have been 2 -1 down. Late rally with a very deserved goal for Phillips - thought he and Knighton put in good shifts as did Harves and Purnell. Griff is not best suited at the back but did sterling work apart fom a first half dodgy pass. He certainly should not have been booked for accidental handbll but that "Blakey" for you. Enforced break may do us some good!

    At last we played some decent football, albeit against a team from a lower division, but it is a start. Chertsey were well off the pace but put in a spirited display, and if they had their shooting boots on, could have been a different outcome.  Referee was a bit picky, and totally opposite to last weeks ref. Thought Alan Griffin booking was a deliberate hand ball, but still a harsh booking. Lets hope we get a reasonable draw in next round. Anyone know when the draw takes place?

    The draw for the Second Qualifying Round to be played on November 2, Should take place tomorrow.  I fancy a home draw against Clevedon.
