Corner flag u have an issue, u r overly aggressive time to man up mate. The point of the forum is to exchange & share views. We may not agree with them all but that's life, if u want your only little clique of followers who agree with u then this is the wrong place buddy. My opinions are as wrong as your. Onwards and upwards bluebirds!!

....Steve Winters.
Has anybody seen or heard ant evidence that he won't get the job, especially if he wins today, why him?
He has the support of the players, of course they might be worried that a new man would bring in his own men.
Performances have been ok under his regin and he's now being allowed to sign players, so the board must have confidence in him, of course, we were also in dire need of defenders.
What happened to Blackmore and the Park players coming through, short lived expirement?
As someone said to me breaking away rom the status quo would be a bold move for the board and we don't do bold things, so I fully expect Winter to be appointed next Friday.
P.S Bet the topic's title got your attention
Apparently Mark Collier was watching at Yate.

Good luck to Steve and whoever he brings in as support.
I have to say I'm left a little flat as I was hoping for a more significant change, new broom etc.
Need to give Steve time though so willing to judge him over the course of the season.

Well we will have to wait and see how things move forward. I wish him all the best. To date the games he has been in charge of have been a bit of a mixed bag. Stourbridge sounds a good tactical game won, don't know about Cambridge but the games that concern me are Totton, worst performance in a long time, and Yate a shambles. In his defence he could only work with the limited number of players he had but hopefully he will now be able to bring in a few of his own players to bring the squad up to a sensible number and then it will be the time to judge.

Maybe it is, but you've got to give the guy a chance. I would hope we've learnt from previous mistakes I.e. not dished out a contract, but agreed to review progress at Christmas. Good luck to him anyway. If he keeps us out of the lower reaches of this league I'll be happy.

Personally I was hoping for a complete change and as silver said was hoping for a new broom. Slightly disappointed if the rumours of a return of a couple of former players are true, not the signs of moving forward that I'd hoped to see.
The board have taken the "safe" option and the players can relax as they don't have to bust a gut proving themselves to a new manager.
Good luck to you Mr Winter, think you'll need it.....
