Torquay top with 3,453.Bath 13th with1,143.W-S-M 14th with1,112.Salisbury16th with1,041.Chippenham 24th with 691.I know quite a few a few teams are full - time, but it’s not rocket science to see why balancing the books must be a struggle.

Ten (out of the 22) teams in last season’s Southern League South Premier had average crowds of over 700. Considering some of the large number of supporters some of the National League South teams brought last season to boost our average, next season might prove a challenge as far as crowds are concerned.

Win a few more games (as we should in the league below) and those fairweather home fans will no doubt return

Hardly surprising as the club does absolutely nothing to promote increased crowds other than the standard’come back your team’ etc..
Free under 16’s with a paying adult was removed.
Expensive season ticket.
No food or drink promotions with ticket, I.e. entry, pint & burger for set price.
Crap toilets - this needs sorting ASAP if we get into the NLS again and have to segregate games.
Also the completely crap style of football has bored many to death who will be hard to get back while GH is is in charge

Not to mention the total lack of anything even vaguely resembling an atmosphere. There's a lot of work required on and off the pitch.

Unfortunately Dauntsey, in my humble opinion, the atmosphere of days gone by largely disappeared when the seats went in behind the goal - not the clubs fault as ground grading regulations dictated the number of additional seats required.
Having said that the mind numbing style of play does contribute to passive crowds, although that did marginally improve towards the latter end of the season when we actually started to create chances in and around the box. Too little too late.
Hopefully next season we wont have to see our goalkeeper (whoever that turns out to be) having the most touches, and our style of play exciting the crowd. That might even attract you back from the Flying Monk for your football fix. 😉😁
