Am I the only supporter disappointed that there hasn’t been any news from the Club now that the season is over?
I know the Chairman at the end of the last home game said he took full responsibility for the clubs relegation but why “full responsibility”?
The Management team have a lot to answer for. Are they staying on for the 26/27 season?
Please let’s have some answers it’s a long wait until the recently announced Q & A event on the 26th June!!

This is usual practice for the club, all information is treated as top secret and we, the supporters, have no need to know anything.
As l previously stated the blame for our relegation falls mainly on the management team who unfortunately are likely to still be around next season.

This is usual practice for every club. It is a time for negotiating contracts, terms, availabiity... all of which are entirely private matters and take time. As deals are cemented then we will get the usual trickle of information over the ensuing months. Even by June 26th ... there will be still gaps in next year's line-up. The better quality players who are looking to move on will keep their options open as long as possible for obvious reasons.. seeking the best terms and opportunities for themselves.
As for the Chairman taking " full responsibility"... I would expect nothing less of an honourable and committed Chairman such as Neil. It was he who set the playing budget and ultimately he who determined the playing philosophy and playing style of the Club. It also strongly suggests that Gary Horgan will be our Manager next season, as very pointedly and publicly, no blame was attached to him and his team from his paymasters. There is also the small matter of Gary even wanting to continue. As I've said before... he does have some agency in all this!!
I'll put my cards on the table here:-. up until February or so I would have probably felt that Gary's departure at the end of the season would have been right for the Club. We were clinging to a footballing "orthodoxy" of possession/ passing football... that although philosophically " pure" was pretty sterile, risk averse..and often painful to watch. giving the impression that players didn't want to take chances or failed to take responsibility, thus passing the ball laterally time after time. It just kept us up in 24/25 but its limitations were severely exposed this season.Something happened when we took on Billy Phillips and allowed Sol Wanjau-Smith and for a brief period Rashawn Scott to run at the opposition. We got 7 precious wins and were far more attractive to watch. On this basis and with even a reasonably talented squad and a positive, pragmatic mindset... I see no reason why we can't do well , or very well, in the SLS( or central?) Prem next season with GH in charge. Our other major issue for next season is finding (or re-discovering an existent) striker or strikers who can convert a greater number of the chances we were creating into goals. Missed chances cost us a lot of points. That seems to be near the top of my next season 's wishlist. Its still a bit galling to see our ex Academy kid, Noah Coppin , banging in goals for Salisbury ( 16 I think last season). Good for him....but he's one that shouldn't have got away!!

Been disenchanted for some time. Don't think it is much of a football club these days. Deafening silence validates this. Does anyone know what the vision is for the club?....and by that i mean the first team not this academy business.Did chairman Neil elaborate on any vision after bizarrely taking full responsibility for what is his football management teams failings? Would be very surprised if Horgan and Co suddenly turn CTFC into a entertaining, winning machine even in the Southern League Prem. 26 defeats last season and a relegation on the cards from September. Not bothered to count the amount of lost games from January 2025 to the end of that 2024/25 season....but there were a fair few...its been a long slump of poor football which suggests new ideas are required. Lets be frank - the management team are accountable and should have been moved on from - a long time ago. That would happen at most other clubs. After poor recruitment, poor playing outlook, poor set up, relegation, losing mentality - no cause for optimism regarding bouncing back or progress, if they do stay on. They should go. Bottom line - Club has the blinkers on.

That very commendable Chippy for raising your head above the parapet. Absolute silence, then the G&H just trots out the same story every week.. we dominated the game..didn’t take our chances.
Are things going to improve next season? Stick or twist? It’s going to be a competitive league, so if they are not top five at the end of September the decision is easy.
In the meantime the manager needs to watch other managers being interviewed. In is not acceptable to turn up and say the same thing every single week.
