Should have been a bigger score, although Will made 2 important saves. Unfortunately Farnborough won and that means our fate is out of our control

Totton No5 should have got man of the match,involved in both our goals and gets sent off.Thought Totton offered very little.I think we won the game on pace, once again we wasted so many good attacking opportunities,but Totton also missed two sitters.

I'm not sure what the referee was up to, 8 yellows and a red (plus a yellow for one of the bench) in what was not a particularly rough game. Maybe after making an early booking he was just trying to be consistent 
. As for the match it was good to see us playing with urgency and pace ( although a few more good chances went begging), just a shame we couldn't play like that earlier in the season in which case we probably wouldn't have found ourselves in this situation. I agree with newfan that Will made two very good saves, crucial as the game was still 0-0 at those points.
If indeed we get relegated it's going to be very difficult to get back to this level. I would say in theory it's probably easier to stay in NLS than get promoted from the SL......

The counter argument to this is of course the fact that two of our three total away wins this season have come against first and second in the division below. I think it's mostly weaker than when we were promoted out of it nine years ago... of course we are about to find out how true that is.
