Could have been worse today, Bath and Farnborough both conceded goals late into added on time.We struggled today. Game of few chances we miss one they take theirs.Still all to play for but I fear we need to win all our remaining games.

Definitely missed R Scott today. A draw would have been a fairer result but we couldn't score. Hopefully not the defining game for relegation yet.
That might be coming at Bath. As someone in the crowd said yesterday if we win it won't just be Good Friday it will be a F-ing Good Friday

Farnborough need 50 points (maybe less).
Bath will need to win Friday to stand any chance of staying up. I think they (Bath) will have some consolation in taking Chippenham with them.
This flurry of late loan players is papering over the cracks.

Sadly the cracks have been there for ages! Very disappointed that the issue wasn’t addressed at the start of the year.
A draw may have been a fairer result yesterday but we never looked like scoring a goal even if we played until midnight!!!

Awful game not helped by the wind. Neither team deserved to win. Lost count of the number of times a Chippenham player had the opportunity to either get the ball into the penalty area or shoot. Closer you get to your opponent's goal more chance you have of scoring. As has been said many times on this forum too much sideways and backwards passing.
I do not understand the reasoning why at corners we pull all players back thereby allowing the opposition to push more players forward. And of course if you clear the ball it comes straight back. Most teams I've seen this season leave at least one player up field.
And a request. Any chance the volume on the PA can be turned down as if you are anywhere near a tannoy it's virtually impossible to have a conversation.

Yes, I would agree with that. I would say the summer recruitment was mediocre (as things have turned out) and the loan signings haven't had the desired impact other than Rashawn Scott who only played a few games. If indeed we do get relegated it's not recent games that will be the cause it will be the dire form in the first half of the season.
As for yesterdays game against Chelmsford as usual there was no lack of effort but a familiar theme i.e. plenty of possession with no end product. Where there's life there's hope...
