Games that really matter

Six games that will go a long way to deciding who goes down or stops up.Bath v Farnborough,Chippenham Eastbourne,Eastbourne vBath,Bath vChippenham,Hampton v Farnborough and Hampton vChippenham.Three wins for us and three draws would be a massive help.

Re: Games that really matter

Looks like a mini league to me....4 from 5 to go. Hampton might have too much. Although at the moment everyone will be hopeful of staying in the mix but quite probable a lot will come down to Farnborough's results in the next week or so against Bath, Maidstone and Dagenham. If they get a couple of wins especially at Bath.... would fancy them to pull away. Never easy to play catch up when games are running out as your only a slip up from things being irretrievable.

Can’t see the point in posting on here anymore. Even the supporters are apathetic. The post match interviews are the same every time. The table doesn’t lie and not winning an away game all season tells its own story.
Start talking about relegation. It’s been a reality for months. Even now you don’t mention it even though you know it’s coming.
Convince me you are the man to turn it round and make a serious promotion challenge.
Otherwise stand aside and let someone with ambition take charge.

Indeed, that makes the table look a bit better. Chippenham have just the seven games left, so obviously 21 points to play for. No-one knows how many will be required to stay up, but could the scenario arise where our fate is in our own hands? Saturday against freefalling Eastbourne is surely a must win game.

Re: Games that really matter

Bath lost big, but Enfield won. Could do with Farnborough giving Chelmsford a very hard game tonight but lose

Re: Games that really matter

What’s in going to take now? 5 wins minimum?
2/3 away wins and winning every home game?

I know the blue tinted glasses brigade will say they can do it! Hope you’re right.

Why did it take so long to kick start our season?

Re: Games that really matter

Our season now comes down to succeeding or failing to score 6 points more than Farnborough and 4 more than Enfield.
