Brilliant to see this out quickly and great to see Luke Haines in particular signed on- hopefully Spokes follows suit.

Nothing exciting yet to get fans back through the gates.
Good to see Haines signing but surprised that Williams and AAH have been given/offered new deals, especially given the injuries of the latter.
Definitely need another striker, if not 2, a centre back, and a replacement for Leon/Bray, please no more midfielders and judging by those retained numbers well only see a couple enter through the door.

Presumably AAH will be offered a pay as you play deal, so won’t cost us much if that’s the case, given his injury record. If he was 100% fit the whole time he’d be playing at a higher level I’d have thought?
Hopefully we’ll get some decent pre-season friendlies to trial some likely new signings - there must be loads of released players floating about looking for clubs.

Definitely need a couple of strikers and if they are brought in - a change in mindset and thought in how they are utilised. Then again said the same last year and we still ended up top heavy with midfielders. If Freddie Grant is now considered a centre back - a left back would be a good acquisition. So would bringing in some proven players who are not going backwards and can hit the ground running.

Well, I was told we funded all of his medical bills last season, scans, MRI’s, treatment etc… which added up to a hefty sum, it’s not just about wages.
Maybe a few available from Merythr like Kane Simpson, who don’t want to travel north and Brandon Smalley leaving Gloucester
