Jerry Gill Potted

Mr Gill has "parted ways" with Bath City.

An utter failure of a manager at a club with decent turnover.

Hopefully they get someone even worse in.

Re: Jerry Gill Potted

Not surprised, he never seemed particularly popular over there either. His prospects have not looked promising for a good few weeks. The Slough hamstring stuff last season was probably the start of his downfall.

Apparently concerned about relegation - they could easily end up going nowhere - scratching around desperately for NL South experience with contacts or limited to academy coaches like they had with Gary Owers & Gill. Can they even afford/attract anyone in a job? Whatever - The 'Big Bath City Boss' has gone with goalkeeper coach and senior players in charge. Shame we have to wait to Boxing Day to play them.

I've heard that Horgan and Coupe have applied.

Hope that’s not true.

Rubbish, stop stirring the pot. Job not even been advertised yet.
Although I can see why Bath would want them, achieving miracles on a small budget.

An easy man to dislike, with a large chip on his shoulder, he achieved very little with what had, which at time must have been a budget considerable higher than ours. Albeit pretty low this season from what I understand.

His model was to pay over the odds for local talent(£400 more per week for Russe), mainly from us. And use costly ex pro’s who are injury prone.
Didn’t use academy players much to fill the gaps, which proves costly.

Bath have real problems dispite descents crowds a, huge dept and large ageing ground that costs a fortune to maintain, a real burden on future budgets.

But they have a bigger ground and better toilets than us, as they constantly like to remind us every time they visit. 🙄
