I appreciate that most tasks at the club are undertaken by volunteers and the following comments are more of an observation than anything else. Match previews posted on the club’s website whilst useful at times don’t really give the information that l think most fans look for, namely news about your own players. For example, the Dorking preview half the review is a report about the Farnborough game, a report posted already a few days ago,bit on head to head then bit about some Dorking players, which quite useful but not a word about any Chippenham team news.
Not meant as a criticism but merely trying to point out what l think most fans are looking for in the preview.
One last point regarding Gary Horgan’s comment about the Farnborough game. Mention made about the first goal but not a word about the second goal coming about as a result of mucking around with the ball in the penalty area!!

According to their fans forum they are going to walk it as we ‘are only there (National South) to make up the numbers’, and subsequently will record their first league win at home since March.

Although they won today, it’s slightly ironic as didn’t we do the double over them a few season back with Paraon getting a couple, not the greatest start so far but let them keep underestimating us.
Regarding the match previewes I believe these were previously done by Simon(Voice) but as he’s been relieved of his commercial duties it seems. Strange as didn’t we make a profit last season. maybe understandably, he’s not doing previews or the tannoy anymore. Shame as he was pretty good.
Appear to be going backwards off the pitch.

I’m pretty sure the club made a healthy profit last year, the first time for many years, so I’m happy that the club is being run on a sound footing and going forward off the pitch.
On the pitch, if we get out of August with 6 or 7 points we’ll have done well.

Few teams will leave Dorking with any points this season. Marc White complimentary of our set up in his post match.
There’s no good time to concede, but right on the stroke of half time from our throw in is frustrating. One thing you can’t doubt this side on is the fact they fight to the final whistle, it was all us in the last 10 mins.
Hey-ho, we’ve been dealt a tough opening five games, so need to take something from Weymouth on Tuesday

Do you not think that some of that income might have been generated by the commercial manager? Seems a strange decision not to have one is all I’m saying.

Surely don't want to give too much away in terms of team news?
Online!
Unfortunately the club never want to give anything away ie when a player is out injured, suspended or even when they've left us!

Or indeed when it comes to player registrations. Poor Mal Nicholls had to miss out on the opening day because he wasn't registered in time... despite being a contracted player this and last season.
