Does anybody know the situation with Dan Ellison?
Signed an 18-month deal in the winter, so he’s contracted. Anyone who wants him will have to pay.

Probably only leaves Eddie Jones in terms of players I definitely would've liked to see retained.
Sadly Eddie Jones has moved on. There a couple more surprises coming up this week
So our right back has gone any news of the other flank: Nat Williams?

As this was nearly three weeks ago did I miss the surprises or were they player deals that fell through?

Leighton Tuodolo joins Taunton but will spend 24/25 season on loan at Cribbs.
Very surprised to read this. Always done well for us when given the opportunity.

Agree with Wellard that Tuodolo looked a decent player. Can’t make out why Taunton sign Three players then loan them out for the season.Pherhaps Bristol rovers might loan us a young centre half they have just signed, might just help Dan with his future development

Also very surprised to see that Alex Bray is still on the scene, given his injury prone season.

Pretty sure one of the trialists we've had last few games is Rex Mannings, former Weston, Bath and Frome midfielder.

Yes.. I believe Rex Mannings was there at Bulpit Road and looked lively. We looked a class apart in the first half. Three straightforward goals.. almost everyone impressing, especially Dawes and Parsons. Second half, they got back into it more.. as we made 5 (?) changes and then looked ragged and lost all that early rhythm and dominance. Am assuming the 2nd half changes were just to give players game-time rather than look at potential signings, as GH was not there. Feisty at times with a couple of rucks.. so good experience for the several youngsters who would never have played at that level of physicality and intensity.
In terms of player news: looks like Nat Williams is retained. Triallists Nos. 2 & 4 did a good job in the Eddie Jones slot. Freddie G was a little bit ring rusty and half a yard short after long-term injury but his usual ebullient self. Joe Andrews was lively and promising. In attendance but didn'y play were: Mehew, TOE and Jake Evans. No sign of AAH so Luke Haines ( 1st half) and Luke Spokes ( 2nd half) took on senior central defender role.
Overall: Parsons, Tyreke and Dawes look a potent combination . we have some bright young talent knocking on the door...On to Superrmarine which might tell us a bit more ...
