This has been coming for weeks and was obvious to everyone apart from the National League. Truro should have been ordered to find a decent alternative before Christmas or forced to play their ‘home’ matches on their opponents pitches. That might have seemed unfair on those teams with two ‘home’ games against Truro but surely far more integral than playing every other day - their squad will be fatigued and probably weakened by injuries and surely player safety is a concern.

Gloucester City have just posted that ALL of Truro’s remaining ‘home’ games will be played at Meadow Park!
