    And then for a counter argument, their Club Captain Lloyd Irish has released a statement on behalf of the players on his Twitter

    Got to feel sorry for Dartford this evening who have the nearly 600 mile round trip to play Truro  only to have game postponed because of a frozen pitch
    All 5 games in our league have been postponed

    Can only assume there is no referee in Cornwall/Devon qualified to call the match off they had to wait for the match referee. Looking on Dartford Twitter the pitch looks rock solid.

    As opposed to this freeze-up the forecast for next Tuesday (home to Torquay) looks positively tropical, if a little damp!
