Wiltshire Premier Shield match at home tomorrow

I see we have Westbury at home Tue night... Given the FAT match away at Bromley on Saturday, I assume we'd just be putting out mostly the Academy players as we surely wont risk key members of the first team?

Re: Wiltshire Premier Shield match at home tomorrow

Probably similar to last season - mostly academy lads and with Bromley in mind - maybe one or two first teamers who have not got many minutes recently. Think the admission price is £5 which suggests it will be mainly academy.

Anyone know if there will be a pitch inspection due to the frost.

About to kick off. We have a pretty strong team sheet and bench named. It is a semi-final after all

Not that it's doing us any good 1-2 down at HT.

Won...

Very fortunate. Westbury can feel hard done by. 1-3 down 2 mins into the second half and then tails were up. A bit more composure and it could have been 1-5 shortly after. Late sub to bring on Caine Bradbury changed the game and allowed us to equalise in the 90th minute to send us to a penalty shootout

Re: Wiltshire Premier Shield match at home tomorrow

One of the great cup comebacks.Westbury should have won it at a canter but if you don’t take you’re chances, anything can happen and it did.Caine on as sub made all the difference.Experienced midfield, but defence looked like academy players.Five good penalties to win it.

Re: Wiltshire Premier Shield match at home tomorrow

Chippenham didn't give up after a quickfire double from Westbury gave them control
Impressed with Vossa as well as Caine, who had that cutting bit of quality. Tyreke Johnson worked hard and Craig with a poacher goal for the first. Why is it that we can not sing on a league game on Saturday yet for a Wiltshire Shield game the group behind the goal full of energy singing nearly the whole way through the first half. Notice the older bloke who does media was in there starting songs in the first half. Not a bad night some may say Chippenham were lucky but a very composed shootout and gritty last 15 minutes.
