Awful first half and deserved to be losing. Hemel were quicker to the ball and winning most 50/50 tackles.Wasn't until AAH went upfront did we look like scoring. Don't blame Matt McClure because as usual left totally isolated. Baffling team selection again. You are at home and you pick a defensive looking side with one striker.
Better second half and didn't deserve to lose. Ref had a reasonable game but never a penalty. Looked outside the area and doubtful a foul.

We set up so defensive at home, one striker who drops deep to be involved. On Boxing Day we were tactically poor with Fas completely ineffective. We don’t look like we are going to score with that set up from open play and struggling to play to our strikers strengths.
AAH went up front and suddenly we have a target man.
Said it before but we need to dip into the loan market for a striker if we have any aspirations to get in the playoff.
Game of two halves. First half was flat with a couple of poor/good moments. Second half was much better. Red card meant they just sat in and defended which made it tough. Never ever ever ever a penalty.
Matt McClure was miles off it and I think we miss Caine Bradbury. However, I find it puzzling on comments that we are a defensive team when we have scored 2 and conceded 3.

Disappointed not to get a point after the hard work of getting level. Do not understand why there is tinkering with team selection - don't think it helps develop understanding - and certainly do not get this safe and cautious tactical set up, especially when at home. Majority of these players have played for numerous different clubs, played a decent number of games and the majority have been connected to professional outfits. Apart from the young lad Ellison, they are not suddenly having to learn how to operate at this level of football whilst at CTFC - they know what to do, so it's difficult to understand why they seem so tactically controlled and restricted on the pitch. Being two down and AAH forced up front saw the gameplan go out of the window and things improved. But again it's frustrating that we have to be almost out of the game before things get changed, go up a gear and there is variation to our play.
Another game of fine margins and a draw would of been a fair result but the cautious/safe approach in the first 30 minutes held us back and during this period in the game Hemel took advantage.

Such a shame to get nothing from the game, especially having come from 2-0 down. Second half Tom Daley would be proud of the Hemel display, spent a lot of time on the floor and won due to a questionable penalty, their second half plan worked a treat. The lack of atmosphere must be really uninspiring for the players, is like playing in a library, at start of season we had a great atmosphere, used to enjoy standing near the singing but that group is non existent now. Was stood by bar and the guy in his 20's with the stone island jacket once again causing problems think he needs calming down saw people getting irate today with him.

At the beginning of the season the atmosphere was brilliant had one or two older lads trying to get other fans into the ground and getting them to singing songs.
The lad in his 20s wearing the stone island jacket has been a problem he was the reason why one of the older lot is banned for the season. Every week I see or hear he’s causing problems yet still nothing is done but the old lad got banned after one warning.
I actually feel sorry for him being mistreated and made to be the problem. He was a loyal supporter who went home and away games and always encouraged us to hope on the train to do away days. He always brought the atmosphere no matter what.

Perhaps its time the club took another look at the season long ban. The atmosphere is non-existent. The individual concerned hasn't to my knowledge attempted either at home or away to make a reappearance.

Would AAH and someone with pace up front be a better combination. We have the meanest defence away but virtually the worst defence at home. Also did next weeks cup game have a bearing on team selection today.Agree doesn’t seem any younger supporters about to create any atmosphere. That’s now 7 defeats at home, but only 2 away in the league. What odds on a cup upset at Bromley.

Scored 2 after we are already behind and had to change it.
We set up very defensive with only one striker, especially at home.

It's very frustrating this season, only 4 wins in 14 home games, so it's really not surprising people on here are questioning team selection and tactics. (Also not surprising attendances are poor). It's only the away form which has kept us in the mid-table.
