After a couple of days rain I doubt if all three games at Taunton, Truro or Weston super Mare will be on. If this weather continues all three will fall behind with their fixtures and forced to play catch up - a bit like Poole Town in the season they were relegated. It’s strange that the powers that be have stringent criteria regarding stadium capacity, seating, dressing room area etcetera but having a lousy pitch doesn’t come into it.

As of 1.10 pm.. Taunton and W-S-M home games still both on.... A surprise given the state of the ground.

Weston super Mud now OFF.

As Weston’s Trophy match v Woking was postponed today it will now be played on Tuesday 12th December meaning Weston v Taunton on that date will not take place thus adding to both club’s upcoming fixture congestion.

As well as WsM v Chippenham off again also Taunton v Torquay.
So from the start of the season to the last Saturday in December (22 Saturdays) Taunton will have played 22 games (assuming no other games are postponed.) From January to the end of the season (16 Saturdays) they will need to play 24 games. Although they won't have FA Cup or Trophy matches to fit in, January, February and even March are notorious for inclement weather.

I see the mud bath at WETSworth Drive is unfit again meaning Taunton v Yeovil is OFF - sell out crowd so presume as they met grading standards that would have been a 3,000 crowd. Taunton have only played 21 games in the league this year meaning they have to fit in 25 games in the next 16 weeks.

You could be right after transferring Jake Wannell and Jay Foulston earlier in the season today Dylan Morgan has joined the Glovers and Dave Sims- Burgess to Swindon Supermarine.
