    Fair dues to Sam on his promotion to the Premier League. He has put in a lot of hard yards over recent years - refereeing from grass roots upwards.Good luck to him.

    Had a chat with Sammy when he came in to our place of work at Corsham. He’s a fantastic guy! Can’t help thinking that the PL is only the start!
    Just hope that VAR doesn’t let him down!

    I managed a very quick chat with Sam as he warmed up pitch side prior to the Trophy Final.  It was a very good game between two excellent sides, and he refereed it impressively.
    I recommend non-league Finals day, it’s great value and a good day out.

    Grew up playing youth football with Sammy and great to see him doing well and especially good see to an ex player who understands the game so well.

    What a lovely bloke.
