Building up a big debt to get promoted is all very well until you try to compete in the next league up. A few years of yoyoing the leagues will finish off your club and I'm glad ours isn't going down that route. There's no shame in being a mid-table club that isn't massively in debt.

KEH Sports Limited are now owed over £1.8million by Ebbsfleet United, an increase from £518,503 in the previous year's accounts. The club owed more than £2.8million in loans, an increase from £933,549 in 2019. The total owed to creditors was over £4.7million, an increase from just over £3.2million in 2019
Obviously since this article the debt has increased even more
