Under 19's

The under 19's had a brilliant win the league cup final this week, and I heard that they need to win their last 3 games to win the league. On the radio this morning BBC Wilts, they mentioned that they are playing Tottenham today, but did not mention if it was at home or away, come on club what is happening, Do you want the fans to get behind the Academy players, our future.  Very little information forthcoming from the club, same as little notice of the cup final game at the Hawthorns.

Re: Under 19's

The Academy has it's own twitter feed that updates fans on everything going on, such as fixtures and results.

Re: Under 19's

Ok if you are on twitter, I am not, I will go along this afternoon, just in case it is at home, but shocking publicity.

Re: Under 19's

You don't have to be on twitter to check twitter. It's away at Coles Park, home of Haringey Borough. All remaining NYFL fixtures are listed here.

Re: Under 19's

Thanks 96, however, it is a shame the club does not get involved with the supporters more, and use this forum or facebook, to promote the club more. They are losing so many possible supporters, just look at the fixture board on the main road, it is embarrassing.

Re: Under 19's

I'll admit, maybe because I'm a fan that no longer lives in Wiltshire, I'm limited to what I can gather online which might be why I'm more across it all than others. Agree, maybe academy can get a dedicated page on the site?

For what it's worth, Chippenham U19's won it late 2-1 vs Tottenham, 94th and 96th minute goals.

In the box
1. The academy have there own website
2. Remember the website is done by volunteers so not always updated
3. This forum has nothing to do with Chippenham Town FC so why should they update it
4. Have you ever volunteered to help if not why not or would you just like to stay in the box and moan.
5. You only have to ask the right people and you will get all the answers you want

Rant over

Re: Under 19's

The academy socials are very well maintained. They don’t give too much notice of games but you always know results.

I’m afraid that supporters on here (there are about 15??) need to use social media. Period. The world moves on and the club has to run with it.

Using forums/signs/posters etc is old hat.

I watched the U19 game online, our boys were excellent and deserved the win. A good win today too. Would be a fantastic achievement for them to win the league and cup.
