I see that Supermarine have announced theirs and we are playing a team at their place on the 18th July

See nothing changed from last close season. Why is it time and again we learn what is going on in our own club from other club’s websites!!
On a different matter but still on communication as the season has finished any news on player movements? Obviously too early to say definitely who will stay but l would have thought a decision would have been made as to who isn’t being offered terms for next season. Anyone know?

Went past the ground today and lo and behold they have next seasons fixtures already on the board, hahaha, oh it was the season that finished a couple of weeks ago.

Wow- only finished the Season 2 weeks ago ! You don’t have holidays then Joiner, let the boys have some down time before it starts again. I’m sure we will find out in the next couple of weeks what is happening but remember nothing gets posted on here you have to go to the main website !

I'm sure the club are arranging things and will release it as and when they can. Supermarine may have gone early and announced theirs.
As for the retained list / players in and out, it's a long summer, lots of ins and outs I imagine.

Disappointing no “bigger team” comes to visit from a financial income POV, but these things are usually organised by league clubs 9+ months in advance so may have missed the boat.
Every chance we might have organised something with Yeovil/Torquay in our transfer deals, only for them to end up in our league so a friendly would be futile!
On the flip side, we are now considered big pull for some of the teams we are visiting, and most importantly it gets minutes in the players legs.

Some nice local away trips, I'd rather that personally than some football league club's "XI" at home

Some good Southern Prem teams who have had good seasons. Good test for the lads.
