Really difficult to decide with no really obvious choice and many players having good solid seasons, especially, obviously, recently. For me it would probably be between Will Henry, Luke Russe, Alex Bray and Joe Hanks.
Russe has been dependable as ever and epitomises the effort of the team. Hanks has probably been our best player based purely on performances and also, obviously scored the goal vs Lincoln. Bray has gone under the radar I think- he has been instrumental in our recent run, doing an immense job filling in out of position at both full back positions, as well as being really energetic and skilful going forward. Both him and Hanks arguably have not played enough to be player of the season though with their respective injury problems.
Will Henry it is for me, been incredible in goal all season, often keeping us in games and saving the occasional penalty.

Between Luke Russe and Will Henry. Both have been outstanding this season and probably first names on the team sheet. My guess is I’ve voted for the player who will come second.

I think Young would have been obvious choice had he stayed with us, otherwise as said no stand out choice and you could make a decent case for any of the six regulars who start nearly every week.
Henry for me but I don't think he'll get it.

Great topic, lots will have opinions about this. I'm staggered nobody has mentioned my choice...Will Richards. Apart from occasional injury an ever present, organising the back four (including young Tizzard and Tomlinson) and leading by example when captain. I'm sure he has been instrumental in helping keep the goals conceded figure down, although that probably goes under the radar. Next for me would be Mehew, then Henry.

Russe all day long for me, with Henry and Richards in second/third position.

Russe, Mehew, Bray, Hanks (top scorer?), Richards, Henry all candidates. Mehew gets my vote.

Can’t argue with any of the above glad Will Richards eventually mentioned. Think some choices may be influenced by where you stand, so those who always stand behind the goal we are attacking are less likely to appreciate defenders apart from keeper whose work can be seen from anywhere, not a criticism just a thought.

Russe is very far ahead in the voting, going by the sheet that was passed to me for my vote the other day anyway

IMO Pablo Martinez should get player of the season. What he has gone through is beyond football. I bet 100% of staff and supporters would agree likewise. Looking back on this season in decades to come the history books should reflected that Pablo got the season award!
Please, Please don’t miss this opportunity!

Will Henry for me with Luke Russe close second, but Tom Mehew has really shone in the last 10 games. Will Richards always dependable. It will be interesting final decision.
