Starting next Tuesday we have 6 home games over the course of a month. Although our home record is not that great hopefully we will pick up some much needed points. Problem is though as I see it with so many games over such a short space of time, given the current economic climate, how many fans could afford to go to all games? Maybe the club could come up with some incentives to keep turnstiles ticking over.

We've been so unfortunate with cancellations this season, very annoying that these games do all fall pretty much one after the other.
We need to make it a fortress.

We could do something. Although we should do something all season. Just look at Hungerford.
On big gate games we should offer entrance and a free’half price pint if you arrive before a certain time. Will spread out the crowds and help the queues.
Maybe we could offer over the next games attend 2 or 3 games and get the next half price.
Obviously different with season ticket holders.
Need to get the crowds in and push the boys over the line.

I'm sure this was brought up here about this time last year and "something is planned for next season" was the reply...

Whilst you admire Reg for his optimism it does ignore reality. Of course a winning team will attract more fans but if money is tight then attending 7 games in a month ( it’s 7 but on club website missing Taunton game ) maybe too much for some. Hence maybe the commercial team could come up with sort of incentives to help keep attendances up. Maybe something along the lines suggested by Wellard or even a mini mini season ticket with so many home games close together.
On subject of home games. There used to be announcements at 1st team games and also on the website of up and coming academy games but unless l missed it nothing mentioned now. Shame as they had a home game but where would you find out?

Pretty sure the club offered part-season tickets around Christmas time? Don’t recall the exact offer but whoever bought one made a sound investment.
