Corsham game on v Deal in Trophy. Encouraging us to go - CTFC season ticket holders 25% off entry says on their twitter feed
Ref called game off to disbelief of the two sides, wonder if it was the ref we had v Weymouth.

You have to feel sorry for Deal. They were told yesterday the game was on, and presumably this morning before they set out on the long journey. Everyone knew what the weather forecast was, which turned out to be accurate. I hope the Vase prize money covers their expenses for the last two weekends. Bad luck on Corsham too.

Travel has to be covered by home team except hotel costs until it goes National at qf stage when hotel costs can be included. Deal had a hotel stay last week but that was at their cost. They didnât stay overnight last night.
Not sure how many Deal fans wouldâve travelled but they will be right out of pocket.
It does make you wonder about the sense of this stage of comp being in depths of winter. Play early rounds in August /Sept. The waiti till March would seem to make more sense.

Lol corsham proper tin pot club, even the money being thrown around the club couldnât pay the ref to get the game on.

Corsham Town FC, Club Statement - Deal Town
Our club would have done well to issue such a statement after the late call on the Weymough game
