Re: Torquay

They could be 0-15 up Ht. and finish 16-15.

Re: Torquay

Not a good evening, giving away a 2 nil lead and dropping to second bottom in table
We need to turn this around quickly and perhaps new management team could do this. Is it time for a change?

Re: Torquay

I really hope Bath score first on Boxing Day, might have a chance of getting a result then!
Looked like we were missing a few but still no excuse to throw another 2 goal lead away.

Danny Greenslade scored winning penalty for Bath tonight v Bromley

Re: Torquay

I'm sorry to say that listening to the commentary, even when we were winning 2-0, I felt it was only a question of time before Torquay took the lead. There's a disturbing inevitability about it now. Yes, at least we can now concentrate on the league, but defeats are always bad for confidence and morale.

Re: Torquay

Yes we spurned a 2 goal lead but lets remember we were playing a team from higher in the pyramid.
We do need a better mentality though.

Re: Torquay

Only one recognised centre half tonight, no Tizzard or Hamilton. Badly need a Gary Thorne type leader who can organise and be vocal.

I quite agree “Swayne Close”! It has been obvious for some time that we need an “older more experienced leader” to lead the team on the pitch.
You only have to look back at the major contributions made by the likes of Gary Thorne and Colin Towler. They helped steady the ship and brought a calming influence on the younger players.
