So sad to hear that Nick has passed away.
A well respected Official who served non-league football in the West Country for many a year.
When we started an under 17’s team in the Mid Wilts Youth League in the middle eighties Nick was the go-to ref for our home games on a Sunday afternoon at Kington Langley. Come rain, come shine Nick was always there. A great man and a great supporter of CTFC.
RIP Nick.

I can only echo Doug’s words. Nick was a lovely bloke, gone far too soon. He loved his family, football and music - I’ll miss the chats at Hardenhuish Park. RIP Nick.

Likewise I can only echo Doug’s kind words. Knew Nick from school days. Heard from one of our old school friends that Nick was not so well, but this news is devastating - RIP Nick - you will be sadly missed.

I also knew Nick from school days, every few years our paths would cross. A genuinely nice guy who loved his local football. RIP Nick.

What sad news! As a fellow referee I knew Nick from the time I moved to the Chippenham area in 1975. Both of us helped to run the local referees’ society, and his enthusiasm for the game was boundless.
R.I.P., Nick, you will be missed by so many.
