Has been sacked as Salisbury manager. Wonder if he will remain a director?

Nearly as obnoxious as that nice Steve Ling from Gloucester City in my opinion Will. Watched Salisbury at Yate Town a few weeks ago, and his language was beyond obscene - effing and blinding at the officials, and only stopped when the ref ordered him to the stands. He’s been at Salisbury for close on 10 years, and what has he actually achieved ? Potentially a big club, so I guess they will be looking for a big name manager to replace Claridge.

He was at Hardenhuish a few weeks back for some reason

They have appointed Brian Dutton.

Ex Bristol Roberts Academy Manager who was only appointed into that post in May this year. Not entirely sure if this a step up or step sideways for this guy, but whatever it is he will need to hit the ground running. I took a look at the Southern Premier table, and Salisbury are doing OK, but way behind the front runners, so one must assume it was something off the pitch that prompted Salisbury to sack Claridge.

I think Steve Claridge was at Hardenhuish watching Oxford, if memory serves. Salisbury had them in the FA Cup shortly afterwards.
Brian Dutton played for Salisbury for a long period, very successful for them.
