Safe to say these boys fight right 'til the end... how many late winners is that now under Horgan's leadership?

Fight till the end but create very little going forward. Completely under the cosh tonight, Playing a counter attacking game. Although Oxford didn’t offer a huge threat in the final 3rd.
We’ll probably end up the lowest scorers in this league but with the best defence. :-)

Yes agreed, very defensive set up but it's 3 more points, Oxford not great and easy see how they were beaten so heavily Saturday. Points or entertainment, team will say points, fans will say entertainment.

Agreed not a classic at all, but again the back line, especially Tizzard and Will Richards, was brilliant. Hopefully Saunders gives us a bit more attacking edge as we were a bit flat going forwards today. Can't complain too much with another late winner though.

Never boring watching Chippenham is it! Tell your friends, get them down. Another 3 points, another late dramatic ending to the game. Entertainment is being served up even if the game was a little stagnant to that point. 422 is a good Tuesday night attendance especially given UCL ball was on the telly but we really need to pack the park on the 17th against Sholing. The FA Cup is magical, let’s hope it galvanises the town and we get behind it, the lads have certainly earned a good crowd! COYB

Nothing like a bit of daylight robbery to round off the evening. Without the benefit of seeing the incident back my initial reaction was we’d be seething if that had happened at the other end. However, poetic justice maybe - Oxford had pretty much refereed the game themselves to that point, screamed for everything and mostly got the decisions in their favour.
Considering we seem to be down to the bare bones we’ve done brilliantly to get 6 points out of the last two games. Badly need some firepower up front so hope the new loan from Rovers is the answer.

Well we are riding our luck at the moment, never really looked like scoring until the penalty awarded. That said we are finishing games strongly and with such a solid defence one goal will often win the game. I thought Will Richards and Will Tizzard were immense at the back, looking like they've played together for years. Wouldn't be surprised if Tizzard achieves just as much as Scott Twine has done.
