I know it’s early days, but the teams we have played are 1st,3rd and 4th.If you don’t conced at least you get a point, but if you don’t score you’re not going to win.Totally agree with toyboy, thought his summary was spot on.

Agree - I thought Will King was superb, worked his socks off and my MOTM.
Parker(?) upfront in the first half I thought did well too.
Chelmsford are a physically big side from goalie to striker whereas we are not, so I thought we competed well and honours even at the end was a fair result, especially after the way the previous game had to be aborted.

Parker was no. 17 and on the left, our player up front for most of the game was no. 15 Palmer-holden on loan from Bristol City - only 18 looks a decent prospect, has some height and runs his socks off but would like to see more what he can do with the ball at his feet

We still need that big target man though - the problem is where do you find one that suits our playing budget
I know this probably is not relevant, but because I work till 2pm on a Saturday, I cannot get to our away games. As I work on a farm in Marshfield, I popped along and watched Yate Town v’s Salisbury - final score 4-0 to Salisbury, with Brandon Goodship bagging a magnificent hat-trick. Now there is a player I would like to to have in our squad - oh well I can but dream 😴

Goodship was a Weymouth player but followed his then manager Molesey to Southend Utd, has always scored plenty of goals. Lot of responsibility on Youngs shoulders to get our goals but others have to chip in. As for strength depth that's obviously helped by the academy lads becoming of age, and they will not be demanding silly money.
