Melksham
Good pre-season crowds. 600+ v FGR, 2000+ v Bristol Rovers, 1500+ v Swindon. A useful boost to the club funds. Hopefully we will see similar at HP, might help if board outside ground advertises the games.

As did Conor Thompson in goal. Melksham definitely do things right with the friendlies, imagine bank balance looking very healthy following those three games, and we get two u18 league clubs visiting us.

I think the club need to make more of the pre-season fixtures.
It's a great chance to get some big gates and I don't believe the club do everything they can to get the best teams down to HP.
There is a lot of competition locally for first-team XI's to play friendlies but as the best placed Wiltshire non-league team (last season) it would be lovely to get some big teams down.

Don’t think Swindon had any recognised first team players at Melksham, all trialists and some that occasionally play for the first team or generally substitutes.Do agree that they are good crowds for friendliest.
