Re: frome part company with Perrin

If he really has 'lost the dressing room' then of course he can't or shouldn't continue. - Beyond that there's surely a window of oppertunity to bring somebody else in. Have we passed it? The players are all Rudgys I cant imagine he's lost them all. Same situation at Frome though as we said earlier, apart from the one game quote there's no prior evidence at least externally the DP lost his players.

Re: frome part company with Perrin

The player's are not "all Rudge's" George. Williams, Kite, Griffin, Osman, Lye, Casey, Guthrie, Harvey were all there before he took charge with the majority still being there, so it's only half a team he's changed.

The opportunity for changing the manager has gone, who would take on a relegation fighting job this late in the season and there's this 2yr contract he's rumoured to be on. Can we afford to go down the DP route, again. and pay him off, certainly don't get the feeling Rudge would walk away if we did go down.

Question: Anyone know if DP was on a contract at Frome?

Re: frome part company with Perrin

He was on a contract which ran until end of the season so 6 more weeks, it wasnt just about the cambridge defeat which was abysmal, players werent up for it and at 2-0 DP slumped in dugout and didnt move again, this has been coming for weeks now as the way we were going we are going down, fact, at least someone new coming in may have a positive effect on the players, who knows if it will work but something had to change, player and managers body language been wrong for a few weeks now

Re: frome part company with Perrin

By changing things with eight games to go we have given ourselves a chance, if we had stayed as we were I am sure we would have gone down. Darren was like a breath of fresh air in the early days but gradually became predictable in his choice of tactics. We still have a great chance of survival and the players must now give their all, tomorrow home to Kettering three points is a must as is Bedworth shortly after, we still believe .

Stick or twist. One of us is right. Lets see. (Of course we might both be right) And yes CF i acknowledge your point about the players.

Slightly off-thread, but if this video is anything to go by, morale at CTFC looks good.

Fair play, you did something we can't do and that's win a game. Whoever gets relegated with Kettering will deserve to go down.

They certainly will, all of us near the bottom seem to have been given plenty of chances but no one seems to want to pull away, its certainly going down to the wire

Re: frome part company with Perrin

Youd have expectations of winning that with Perrin in charge. But a wins a win.
