    Ben Garner to leave Swindon Town

    I’ve just read on the Swindon Advertiser that Swindon Town have agreed on compensation with Charlton Athletic for the services of Ben Garner and his coaching staff, to become their new Manager. Assuming Horgs and Coupy want to continue the arrangement with STFC in taking youngsters and fringe first team players to give them experience, let’s hope the new man (Ian Holloway is apparently in the frame) allows this successful arrangement to continue. Benefits both clubs definitely - COYMB

    If Ollie gets the job I reckon he'd keep the current arrangement going. He's going to be using the Cepen Park bypass to get to work after all. With any luck we'll get more good players sent our way to toughen up that then go on to feature in Swindon's first team.
