Re: Dartford away

On the way back now.

Brilliant away day, one of the best, even if it was a bit tense.

Great achievement from the lads and the club and of course we go again on Sunday.

Re: Dartford away

Simple unbelievable. Lovely place to watch football.
A cagey affair, first half was definitely ours, chances from a Hanks header, Santos shit and a couple of other half chances. I lost count of the number of over hit balls from them that skipped of the wet surface after they watered it before the game. Weird decision. They were there for the taking.
2nd half they game out strong and had plenty of opportunities but will made a couple of good saves, the rest was off target. Santos hit the bar and Spence should have done better on the follow up.
Extra time was probably edged by them as we did looked tired.
Penalties, well some good saves from both keepers. Normally saving 2 would win you the game but Will was faultless all night.
Lets travel in numbers to Ebbsfleet, the boys deserve it. Drop the wife off at Bluewater and get to the game.

Re: Dartford away

Simply one of the best nights following this great football club.

We edged it in the 90 minutes and kept them as quiet as possible during extra time. with Will Henry in our goal, we always stood a chance in the shootout.

Once again, every player to a man was superb last night, it’s hard to pick a stand out but Mo Dabre chased absolutely everything. But then I think about Danny Greenslade and Will Richards and KP… ah they’re all MOTM, all 13 plus the unused subs, plus the coaching staff.

Re: Dartford away

I also noticed.
Chippenham £13 under 16’s Free with Adult or £3
Dartford £15, under 16’s £5
Ebbsfleet £15 under 17’s £7

Bloody London prices!!

Re: Dartford away

Anyone spotted the mistake on the BBC website regarding the final score?

Now amended to show correct score. Was showing that: ‘Chippenham win 0-0 on penalties!)

Re: Dartford away

Absolutely amazing. So pleased for all involved. Senior player wise we are down to the absolute bare bones but ably topped up by the U23's when called for. The team spirit is off the scale (Pride and Passion!), I just hope they are not too tired come Sunday, but whatever happens a fantastic end to an interesting season! COYB
