FT 2-0 Chip.
No idea how they were near us in the table, one of the worst quality teams I've seen us play this season- surprising given the amount of money I presume they have. Wasn't pretty but we never looked threatened and maybe could've had a few more. Back line superb again, Parselle man of the match for me.

Agree what a poor side, one that was on the beach as they say at this time of the season. Points that count and we take another step to the play offs, will the club lay on a coach supporters to travel next week.

Good result against a team massively out or form.
Should have been further in front at half time.
After a couple of half time subs they came out stronger for 15mins or so but never really threatened our goal. Noticed that’s Mills was subbed but didn’t return to the bench, maybe all is not well there.
Decent crowd again.
Strange one Dulwich, manager been in Charge since 2009 and given the crowds they get, must have a healthy budget. But never really achieved much in this league. An FA Cup run maybe.
Fair play to them for being loyal.

Another top performance today. Confidence and team spirit in the side looked sky high. The team looks settled and very well balanced everyone knows there job and is doing it really well.Jordan Young was the official man of the match.Good as he was for me it was no contest Luke Russe covered every blade of grass his effort is incredible and his enthusiasm for the game has rubbed off on others. There is a good buzz about the place with the new management team. I think a coach for next weeks game ought to be well supported. Although some are going on the train. It would be great to get a decent support to Ebsfleet. Well done Gary Matt and the lads. Let’s keep this run going. 😎

Can anyone confirm if there's going to be a coach or are we just testing the water? I'm keen to book my seat if there is one. The players definitely deserve our support.

It would be nice if the club could put out feelers to see if running a coach to Ebsfleet would be supported.Rather than individuals contacting other individuals. As I’ve said momentum is building behind the side makings the playoffs. People I spoke to yesterday are starting to believe. Where as before it was scoffed at. But we pretty much have to win all our games but if we can keep winning. The last game against Havant would be massive. Could be a winner takes all. But it’s one game at a time. But it’s great to be in a position where it can be achieved. 😎

It was a clear case of "Alas poor Yorick!" for Hamlet yesterday at the TSS, as they duly suffered .."the slings and arrows of outrageous fortune " ...or to put it simply ...superior opponents ....in the shape of a pretty buoyant CTFC.
His Lordship' Inexpert Analysis No 18... (or probably 19? or even 20?)
Overall: the correct result. Football was definitely trickier than the previous Monday, courtesy of a nagging, gusting North-East wind. The beautiful looking playing surface was inevitably hardening and bumping up as well, given the near-drought conditions of recent weeks.
DHFC: surprisingly disappointing. They played with a lack of real intensity and only once found their rhythm for 10 or 15 minutes after half time. Their number 7 worked extremely hard to make things happen and there was evidence of quality but not the sort of "ears pinned back" intent shown by CTFC.
CTFC: carried on where we left off on Monday. Excellent in defence, industrious in midfield and
always looking dangerous up front. Took our feet off the pedal a bit after half time when we weren't finding a blue shirt but picked it up again to create the better of the afternoon's chances, culminating in the utter simplicty of the second goal; a JH cross and a perfectly positioned and unmarked KP just having to side foot the ball into the net at the far post ... easier said than done! DHFC managed to kep Alefe and Alex B pretty quiet, but once again Jordan's left foot opened up space like a can-opener, time and time again. Given the pretty poor disciplinary record of the final months of Mark C's stewardship, it is noticeable how much better we are in the tackle especially in the "danger zone". All our back four made important, well-timed tackles as Dulwich players surged into our penalty area. No silly/ frustrated lunges... just standing up and taking the ball. In the latter stages, Alefe and then Ola made similar well-timed interventions. Fine save by young Will H.to deny DH a comeback goal near the end. No yellow cards for anyone.......... again.
Conclusion: This CTFC side looks settled, well motivated and are clearly playing for each other, the Management and the Club. Callum "Top" Gunner will, hopefully reappear before the end of the season.. as presumably players jostle to be retained. His Lordship will refrain from offering up his suggestions until the season is over... but like others, would look to keep most of the current squad. The only unforgiveble sin that M "Le Chef" Cook could, from afar, commit is to lure young JY, and one or two others, away to a higher wage-paying club. That would be difficult to countenance... but, sadly, perfectly possible... and the way of the world. I'm sure the Board will move, or have already moved, to make that eventuality less likely...if at all possible!
PS. Her Ladyship is really not very well at all... but thanks all those who have sent her their good wishes by private messaging, and some who have made offers of bar vouchers for "Old Speckled Hen" in the hope of securing a post-match knee-sitting opportunity in the Clubhouse. Beware...Her ladyship is a woman of ample poportions, Block-and-tackle might be required.
