I know our home form has been up and down, but the two losses in the cup competitions cost us financially, and generally the floating supporters will come to cup games. If you play well in those they may come again, play badly especially against lower league opposition itโs why bother.Letโs see what happens on Easter Monday with regard to crowd and performance,I hope both will be good.At least with Gary in charge the feeling seems to be positive. Also interesting message from the voice, that he will listen to what the supporters think might help.

Bizarre the amount of people cheering the departure of a successful manager
Successful ๐
Apply for the job yourself if you think can win the league with our resources
I see successful as winning a league or Cup ,yes he avoided relegation, but the word successful is used to lightly.

I see successful as not being relegated and not building up huge debts that will eventually have to be paid. Many clubs have overstretched themselves and paid the price. We're not one of them and yet we're still playing at the highest level we've ever been at. It seems that some people gauge success using trophies when that's far from the whole story. Still, we've won the biggest trophy in English football and nobody can take that away from us.ย

And yes, I know it's a shield but for the purposes of making the point 'trophy' will do.ย

Mike Cook was successful. Simple as that. Kept the club in the division when he was first brought in which was his remit, therefore successful.
