About 21 points dropped against lower half sides, so frustrating and maybe the reason for a drop off in attendance, the public don't trust them anymore.
To beat teams like darford, then same old story. I work most Saturdays so miss games, I used to look forward to get a rair chance of a game, but not anymore.
My opinion, that's how feel .

Fair enough that’s your opinion but it’s rather irrelevant given you don’t attend games. We have had some great results since some dead wood was shipped out and we changed our playing style.
But we a mid table side with a hope to sneak into the playoffs. Punching well above our level given the budget.

We are definitely punching above our weight. And we have to remember we only have 11 players signed on with I believe 1 loan player and the rest of the match day squad made up of U23s . Will Richards still out injured and Callum Gunner out for the season.

We have underperformed against the lesser teams and it’s cost us, I would imagine that us along with many are working with limited budgets so it appears we are to just happy to be competitive and be thankful we are a NLS club, in reality this is good as it gets unless the Chairman wants to step up finance.

Or the stay away fans similar to The professor start coming back.
We have a big enough catchment area for bigger crowds than 450. Just not marketed very well.
It's a classic case of now established in the league, not going up and not going down.
The novelty of getting in this league has worn off.
The way this league has been going so far, playoffs have been there for the taking.
To go up from this league would be amazing, the number of ex league teams bringing 250 - 300 away fans. Iam sure then the average att would go up, which helps the the budget etc.
The side have proved that they can win against good sides, let's give it a go all out to finish top 7,then who knows.
Bella ciao

Cannot understand when only 3 subs named yesterday but we allow Griffiths to go out on loan to Chester. Now Gunner out for rest of season and Will Richards still out, we are in desperate straights.

Reality check needed folks. We are competing at the top table of non-league football. Forget the National League, its League 3 in all but name. We sit comfortably mid-table, not going up, not going down. Crowds are well under the budgeted forecast I imagine so steps have been taken to tighten our belts, and rightly so if that's the case. Throw a few kids in for the remainder of the season (I think the U23's had a game yesterday so not many available for the bench I guess?) and re-set in the summer - and make sure we get a home pre-season friendly with Swindon - that'll start us off with a 1,000+ crowd - just saying.
Genuine question - when we get loan players in from league clubs do we have to pay all/some/none of their wages?

I think filling the squad with academy products is better than using players that haven't shown enough.
I'd be happy to see the academy lads given first-team starts from now until the end of the season.

Thoughts on the above:
I think the hardcore support of around 500 a few years ago has shrunk to about 350, for various reasons, as very few new fans have replaced the old.
We are now an established NLS club. Agree with the comment that an increased budget is probably needed (next season) to make the playoffs, if that's what the club wants. Nothing wrong with ambition of course but I would say that at present we are actually playing at our 'correct' level.
Inconsistency has almost certainly kept us out of the playoffs (one place left for grabs?) and we knocked ourselves out of the cups.
The Dan Griffiths loan to Chester seems bizarre. However very happy to see Academy lads coming through, a real bright spot for the season.
