Hemel

Looks like our match has survived omicron and am hopeful of another positive result - I’m going for a 3-1 win to send us into the festive period

Re: Hemel

Have to listen to this one, luckily the club are doing a radio broadcast. https://mixlr.com/chiptownfc

Re: Hemel

Yes, I'll be listening to the radio commentary. Tricky game to call, I'm going to be rather boring and go for 1-1 again.

Re: Hemel

A cracking result, also considering we were down to the bare bones. First time listener to the live commentary which was equally as good.  Well done all.

Re: Hemel

Currently isolating after positive Covid test so listening to the excited commentary really cheered me up. Great result, but silly red card. Pity it looks like I'll miss the Bath game but on current form should get  a result.

Re: Hemel

I see the National League have handed us a double whammy over Christmas. Hungerford have no game on the 26th meaning they will be fresh for the 28th and Bath have no game on the 28th meaning they will be fresh for the return game at Twerton Park. Pure coincidence I’m sure, but added to our thin squad it’s going to be quite a challenge.

Re: Hemel

Only ever one team in it today. Griff’s red card gave Hemel hope but they lacked any quality.

Chippenham on the other hand were superb, showing how to win a game of football away from home - controlled the match from the first whistle to the last.

Will Henry - hardly troubled but dealt with everything
Alex Bray - look so much better with him in our team
Will Richards - safe as houses
Kieran Parselle - safe as houses
Danny Greenslade - the LB issue is a forgotten problem, contender for MOTM
Callum Gunner - did the dirty stuff in the middle
Alefe Santos - well taken goal, man in form and proving the doubters wrong, another MOTM candidate
Joe Hanks - so close to scoring when he turned into prime Messi at one stage, solid 90 minutes
Luke Russe - our little terrier in midfield, ran and ran and ran
Dan Griffiths - good finish for the opener, rush of blood to the head for the sending off
Ola Lawal - my MOTM, won everything, superb assist, we’ll do well to hold onto him for much longer. What a talent.

Well done all, on to Bath!

Re: Hemel

Brilliant. The most impressive thing about this for me is that these are all Chippenham players. Not a loanee in sight!

Re: Hemel

Solid performance by the sounds of it, great point about our players and not loans. We have a outstanding under 23 squad so let’s use them and obviously save some money in the bigger scheme of things. Bath in free fall so no worries about that lot. Play offs well within our reach, let the young ones off the leash.
