There is a pitch inspection at 9 am tomorrow to see if the game can go ahead, if it does well be there but the forcast is not great. They have a new ground so it should drain o k, well Im hopefull. Ive heard from a couple of people today that the new ladd Darren Mullings is a good big player who gets about the pitch, good luck Darren welcome to Chippenham. And good luck to Nathan, Rich and the boys lets get the result we need.

Just heard the pitch inspection will now be around 10.I spoke to a guy at the ground and he said there was a lot of surface water on the pitch, they are forking away,he wasn't optimistic. But they are desperate to get the game on. Decision at 10 - 15. They have to make the decision 30 mins before our coach leaves which is 10- 45

Absolutely shocking behaviour - a well run Club would have waited until 20 minutes before kick off to abandon the game, after you had all travelled.

Who would have thought it, the chippo fans moaning about a game being called off a whole FOUR HOURS before kick off for whats a 2 hour drive, unbelievable!! Least by the sounds of it they were forking it!!!

They left it right until the last to inform us that the game was off. No courtesy whatsoever, or thought for those travelling to get the team bus. It's unfair, and frankly rude. Sure, they were vaguely within their rights professionally (although actually late), but I feel this was a poor way for ground staff at Totton to represent their club.
To be fair, Jono says they were forking the pitch and desperate to get the game on. Unless I'm missing something, I can't see any reason why Totton would deliberately mess us around and in any event they saved us from a wasted journey.

Pitch inspection 9.00, announcement 9.15 doesnt seem too bad to me.
