Hard not to overstate how much better that was than what has been on display at the last few home games.
Billericay didn't look like a bad side, and Will had to pull off a couple of excellent saves in the first half as they put us under a lot of early pressure. But the industry, teamwork, passing and movement was so much better and continued ,even with two forced subs due to nasty injuries, right to final whistle
600+ crowd, 3 goals and a clean sheet sent the faithful home happy. Ricky was my MOTM, tireless in the centre and seemed to be relishing this. More like that please - "...if you build it they will come"

Can't argue with that, The look on Par's face at the end said it all.

That was better, much more effort, determination and desire. The new loan players did well which made a big difference. Hope they can take that into the next game.
First half was poor but we dug in. Second half better and deserved it but I don’t know if we’ve turned a corner yet.
New loans are streets ahead of players that have left but that was against bottom of the league so I’m not getting too carried away.

3 pts clean sheet, good crowd, saved a load of money on the rubbish we have moved out. Billericay poor and will struggle with that side.

We've played bottom of the league past four home games! But Billericay do look the poorest of the lot for me

Vast improvement, forwards looked mobile, plenty of movement in midfield, started to pass the ball and create space.Didn’t rate Billericay at all.Saying that you can only beat what is in front of you.Hopefully word will get round that we can play attractive football, but I suppose it depends how long we can keep the loan players. Also nice to hear home fans chanting but please not the sheldon end is full of s**t .Personally I think it is an insult to the away supporters who deserve better.

We had to stop the rot at home today and we did it in some style. The effort and movement, especially off the ball was so much better today. Some good goals. More people in the ground. And a whole team that looked desperate to win. We had a whole squad full of men of the match today. But for me one player Luke Russe was exceptionally he covered every blade of grass. He seemed to be involved with everything. And the way the lads celebrated the win after the final whistle showed just how much it meant to them as well. Smiling faces leaving the ground. We haven’t seen that at a home game for some time. The bar has been set. Let’s hope we keep this going. Well done every body Happy days. Come on you Bluebirds 😎

Agree Jono but feet on the ground it's one win in 9.

It wasn't just about the result for me it was the way we played. No surprise that our young midfielders saw a lot more of the ball today, it wasn't continually being pumped over their heads. Good to see a better crowd along with the improved atmosphere. A good end to a rather interesting week, well done to all involved.
