I have just looked at the club website and seen that the management team consists of 9 people. Now I know that some of these people give their time free of charge but the majority must be getting paid a salary. I would not query this if we were getting the results and crowds this investment deserves but surely spending this money on players would be a better investment. I am not an expert on the running of a football club but did previous managers have this many staff or did they roll up their sleeves and get on and do the training and analysis of the opposition themselves?

But of those listed, two are kit staff, one is a physio and one is academy. Not sure how much impact they’ll have on first time tactics. I’d say there’s four out-and-out coaches at our club that have a day on how we actually play, and given we don’t have a GK coach, that’s a pretty standard total for our level. I can think back to the Mings era and we had four coaches then.

Horgan I’m told is the current GK coach, Collier had Horgan as his no 2 and Jared Thompson’s brother as GK coach (Sorry can’t recall his name)
Did Marlon Jackson even score from open play while he was with us?
If cutting those 3 have saved us £1500 then what a complete waste of money. Minimal impact in games, barely fit and two of them overweight for Footballers.
Can Cook be trusted with money if three past their best players is all he could get?

Adam Mann off to USA until at least January too, so that does leave us with very few experienced upfront options, but agree that he and Jackson and Stearn are probably expensive relatively speaking and not really delivering for us. Time for the academy lads to shine!

Harry Parsons in from Swindon on loan. Highly rated at the County Ground and has been in and around the first team squad this season. Centre forward.

Just saw that on Twitter - looks useful. Hoping we've found another like Scott Twine and we can keep hold of him for a longer spell if so

Seen Parson's he will be so much better than the players that have gone. Really expect 3 points tomorrow with the two that have signed this week.
