Whilst the away points are welcome, the form table tells a sorry story .
5 points from the last 6 games is not good enough!
I hope we can start to turn things around soon otherwise we will be in a relegation fight

What table you looking at we are only 2 points off of the play offs but it’s still way to early
Also how many away game have you been to this season?

As I said, look at form guide

Re: Hampton & Richmond

Take a look at the league table and see how the other clubs home form is, not one team won at home on Saturday.

And whats going to away games got to do with anything?

Lets not start this ‘if you don’t go to away games you aren’t a true supporter’ crap, it’s getting very old.

Re: Hampton & Richmond

Well said Wellard, I can’t see us being in a relegation scrap as defensively we are strong and that’s a good base, goals and entertainment we may not get but staying mid table is a job well done I think, I do expect goals in the next couple of games though. 3 nil tomorrow 510 attendance

Re: Hampton & Richmond

Just watched Saturday highlights, good coverage indeed but the commentator surely must know the difference between Stearn and Greenslade, he mentioned Stearn so many times in the first half, not a complaint just me being an old moaning git.

Home form vs Away form. This is going to rage on a little bit isn't it! Fact is there is right and wrong in both arguments. The fact is calling someone "a less true supporter" for not being in attendance at away fixtures is simply wrong and for some, nothing more than a dick swinging contest in "look how many more games I have been too" It doesn't make you a hero, it doesn't make your opinion superior. However, look at the other side of that argument. Through circumstance I have seen more games away this season than at home but if I call us "Quality" based on that of which I see, I am "biased" or "wearing Blue tinted glasses".

However, facts are facts and at home we have simply not been good enough yet this season. I am sure this is something Mike and the Staff will be drumming into the players before the game!

Debate and opinion is one thing but why does it come down to a stripped back Civil War after every game. I tell you, if we put our collective energy into supporting this side, shouting them home, and really getting behind our troops, there is no telling where a little faith and a bit of luck can take us!

Two massive games coming up, Hemel and Braintree, both home, both beatable and if we come out of October with the wins we desire, it'll be 8 points this month from some very tricky games! And with some very difficult tests in November (they come thick and fast at this level don't they) these points could prove so valuable at the end of the season! COME ON YOU BLUES!!
